In fact, Calarasi has passed from Russia to Romania in 1861, then to Russia in 1878, back to Romania in 1918 and again to Russia in 1940 (see articles about Moldova and Calarasi).

* in 1905 - emigration: Argentina
He escaped from the pogrom of Kishinev of 1905 together with his family, going originally to New York. Abraham had conjunctivitis but they told him that it was glaucoma and they didn't let him stay. So they continued to Argentina. Part of the family stayed at New York.
Departed from Bremen, arriving to Buenos Aires City, Argentina on april 10th, 1906 on board of vessel Borkum.
